The Calendar Clock is visually stimulating and provides essential information about today where ever you are in the world. This innovative app aims to significantly support independent living, increasing confidence and removing some anxiety for those struggling with dementia.
The calendar clock is an essential aid for everyday life. The app is easy to see with large bold information in colours specifically chosen for their clarity. The seasons are shown as glorious visually attractive familiar images adding interest and a calming effect. Night and day imagery is displayed at the top of the screen.
The app has global functionality making it effective wherever you or your loved one may be. The app is simple with sophisticated functionality enabling it to show you seasons and day/night depending on your location using GPS and calculating day/night from sunset/sunrise.
The display is clear using large font and colours that are easy to read. The screen is attractive to look at with regularly changing image sections to add interest and stimulation.
The clock provides a choice of analogue or digital. The day box is coupled with AM/PM providing relevant information with familiar concepts.
Seasons are shown as glorious changing images, adding essential information in an interesting and visually pleasing way. The images will stimulate recognition and add to a sense of confidence in the day and the surroundings for the dementia sufferer.
